With over 20 years dedicated to teaching martial arts in the Tucson community, Boxer's Rebellion Martial Arts (BRMA) Tucson stands as your premier choice for learning combative Wushu (Martial Arts). 
 

At BRMA, we take a modern, integrated approach to training. While honoring traditional martial arts, our program uniquely blends cross-cultural influences from Traditional Japanese (Jujitsu) and Chinese martial arts (Kung Fu), creating a truly American training approach.

We focus on three core areas:

  • Standing Grappling: Our no-gi, standing grappling curriculum draws from the most effective techniques of Jujitsu, Judo, Shuaijiao, and Wrestling, preparing you for real-world scenarios.
     

  • Sanda Kickboxing: Learn powerful striking combined with practical wrestling throws, sweeps, and takedowns, giving you a comprehensive stand-up game.  
     

  • Historical Weapon Combat & Self-Defense: Rooted in Traditional Kung Fu, this training provides invaluable self-defense skills and a deep understanding of weapon dynamics. Learn the use of traditional weapons (Jian (straight sword), Dao (single edged saber), Qiang (Spear), Gùn (Staff) and short stick) as instruments of modern self-defense and sport fencing
     

Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, learn self-defense, or compete, BRMA offers a challenging and rewarding experience for practitioners of all levels.

Fun Fact: Our Jujitsu lineage was the first in Tucson. Roy Holck opened Tucson's first Jujitsu school back in 1962! Check out our
